A subsidiary of Agriculture House Group, KZN Lamb is a sheep feedlot in Cato Ridge, KwaZulu-Natal, leasing one of the chicken farms previously owned by RCL and sold to eThekwini Municipality. Two chicken houses in this farm were converted into a sheep feedlot with a capacity of 3000 lambs per cycle of 60-days. KZN Lamb started as a trial to test various feed formulations from major livestock feed suppliers in KZN and adaptation of lambs in the eThekwini Region. The trial and slaughter results were excellent. The achieved average weight gain was 370g/day and meat graded A2 and A3.  From the trial results, KZN Lamb has been commercialized into the biggest sheep feedlots in KwaZulu-Natal currently producing 1000 lambs per cycle. These numbers are being increased to 3000 lambs per cycle.
